Richard A. Kean, D.D.S., M.D.

Dr. Kean is a St. James alumnus and graduate of Baylor University. He earned his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, graduating with highest honors. Dr. Kean also received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the National Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Kean serves as Dental Chairman of the State Committee of Public Health for the State of Alabama and is an Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor. Dr. Kean and his wife, Kelly have two girls, Elizabeth and Sarah. The family are members of First United Methodist Church.
