Dr. Kean: Oral pathology is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the oral cavity. Symptoms to looks for are lesions , ulcerations, or growths in the mouth that don't go away within two to three weeks. Oral surgeons recommend a self-examination by the patient every month or so, looking around the oral cavity for any signs of ulcers or growths or lesions. If those lesions don't go away within two or three weeks, they should be evaluated by your general dentist or oral surgeon. A self-examination just involves looking around the oral cavity and the cheeks, the palate, on the side of the tongue, on the lips, looking for any areas of white or red that are unusual or growths. And if those areas are of concern, I would recommend seeing your general dentist or your friendly neighborhood oral maxillofacial surgeon.

I wish to thank publically Dr. Ingalls and his staff for "going the extra mile" and not only providing great dental care but also helping a fellow human being out of compassion and caring. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you did for my family member.
